JohnnyHQ exists to help property owners make more informed and confident decisions.

Whether you're planning a remodel, maintaining your home, evaluating Contractors, researching products, organizing Projects, or using our AI-powered tools, we want JohnnyHQ to be a place where information is helpful, trustworthy, and respectful.

These Community Guidelines explain the standards we expect from everyone who uses the Services.

By using JohnnyHQ, you agree to follow these Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service.

Failure to follow these Guidelines may result in content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, or account termination.

1. Our Community Principles

Everything we build at JohnnyHQ is guided by a few simple principles.

We encourage every User to:

• act honestly;
• communicate respectfully;
• provide accurate information;
• respect the privacy of others;
• use artificial intelligence responsibly;
• make decisions thoughtfully;
• contribute constructively to the community; and
• help maintain a trustworthy platform for everyone.

JohnnyHQ is built on trust.

Every User helps protect that trust.

2. Be Honest

Honesty is essential to helping property owners make informed decisions.

When using JohnnyHQ, you should provide information that is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Examples include:

• describing Projects accurately;
• uploading authentic photographs;
• providing genuine reviews;
• submitting legitimate estimates;
• identifying Contractors honestly;
• representing yourself truthfully; and
• correcting information that you know to be inaccurate.

Do not intentionally submit information that is false, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, or designed to manipulate other Users or the Services.

3. Treat Others With Respect

JohnnyHQ welcomes homeowners, landlords, tenants, Contractors, inspectors, real estate professionals, property managers, investors, and other members of the property community.

We expect all Users to communicate respectfully.

The following behavior is prohibited:

• harassment;
• bullying;
• threats;
• intimidation;
• hate speech;
• discriminatory conduct;
• abusive language directed at individuals;
• stalking;
• doxxing;
• or encouraging violence or unlawful activity.

Disagreements are expected.

Personal attacks are not.

4. Help Us Build a Trusted Platform

JohnnyHQ works best when information shared through the Platform is reliable and helpful.

If you notice inaccurate information, misleading content, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the Services, we encourage you to report it so we can review it.

While JohnnyHQ cannot guarantee every issue will result in action, we review reports in good faith and take appropriate action where warranted under our Terms of Service, these Community Guidelines, and applicable law.

We appreciate Users who help us improve the quality, trustworthiness, and integrity of the Platform.

5. Use Artificial Intelligence Responsibly

Artificial intelligence is a powerful tool, but it should be used responsibly and ethically.

JohnnyHQ's AI features are designed to help Users better understand property-related information, organize complex information, compare available options, and make more informed decisions. They are not intended to facilitate deception, fraud, or other harmful conduct.

When using JohnnyHQ's AI Services, you should use them in a manner that is truthful, lawful, and consistent with these Community Guidelines.

You may not use JohnnyHQ to:

• create or submit fraudulent estimates, invoices, contracts, permits, inspection reports, or other documents;
• impersonate another individual, Contractor, business, or organization;
• generate false credentials, licenses, certifications, or insurance documentation;
• create misleading property information or project records;
• manipulate contractor comparisons or AI-generated analyses for deceptive purposes;
• generate content intended to facilitate fraud, identity theft, or other unlawful activity;
• attempt to bypass safety features or intentionally misuse AI functionality; or
• use AI-generated content in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

JohnnyHQ reserves the right to restrict or suspend access to AI features when we reasonably believe they are being used in violation of these Guidelines or our Terms of Service.

6. Respect Privacy

Privacy is an important part of maintaining a trusted platform.

Before uploading information relating to another person, you should ensure that you have the legal right or appropriate permission to do so.

Users should avoid sharing information that is unnecessary for the purpose of using the Services, particularly where it contains sensitive personal information.

You may not publish or upload another person's confidential information without authorization, including personal identification numbers, financial account information, passwords, security credentials, medical information, or other sensitive personal information.

If you believe information has been shared in error or without authorization, please notify JohnnyHQ promptly so that we may review the matter.

7. Respect Intellectual Property

Users should respect the intellectual property rights of others.

You should upload only content that you own or have permission to use.

This includes photographs, documents, plans, drawings, manuals, reports, videos, and other materials submitted through the Services.

You may not upload or distribute content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights.

If JohnnyHQ receives a valid claim that content infringes the rights of another party, we may remove that content while we investigate the matter.

8. Authentic Reviews and Information

JohnnyHQ relies on accurate information to provide meaningful decision-support tools.

Reviews, ratings, comments, project information, and other contributions should reflect genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Users may not manipulate or attempt to manipulate the integrity of the Platform by submitting fabricated reviews, coordinating deceptive review campaigns, creating multiple accounts to influence ratings, or knowingly providing false information about Contractors, products, or services.

Constructive feedback is encouraged. Deliberately misleading information is not.

9. Property Information and Project Content

JohnnyHQ is designed to help Users organize and understand information relating to their properties and Projects.

To maintain the integrity of the Platform, Users should make reasonable efforts to ensure that information they submit is accurate, complete, and current to the best of their knowledge.

Examples include property descriptions, project details, maintenance records, estimates, photographs, inspection reports, invoices, permits, warranties, and similar information uploaded through the Services.

If you discover that information you previously submitted is materially inaccurate or outdated, we encourage you to update or correct it whenever reasonably practicable.

JohnnyHQ understands that property information may evolve over time. Honest mistakes can occur and do not necessarily violate these Community Guidelines. However, knowingly submitting false or misleading information that could influence another User or the operation of the Services is prohibited.

10. Contractors and Businesses

JohnnyHQ provides information and decision-support tools relating to Contractors and other businesses.

We encourage fair, respectful, and accurate discussion of Contractors and the services they provide.

Users should base reviews, ratings, comments, and other submissions on genuine experiences or verifiable information.

You may not knowingly:

• publish false or misleading statements about a Contractor or business;
• impersonate a Contractor or business representative;
• falsely claim professional licenses, certifications, insurance, or qualifications;
• manipulate rankings or reviews;
• create multiple accounts to influence ratings or comparisons; or
• use the Platform to unfairly damage another person's or business's reputation.

JohnnyHQ may investigate reports of misleading or fraudulent activity and may remove content that violates these Guidelines or our Terms of Service.

11. Illegal, Harmful, or Fraudulent Activity

JohnnyHQ may not be used to facilitate unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful conduct.

Users may not use the Services to:

• engage in fraud or deceptive business practices;
• create or distribute fraudulent documents;
• facilitate identity theft;
• promote illegal activity;
• evade licensing, permitting, or regulatory requirements;
• interfere with another person's property or legal rights;
• distribute malware or malicious software;
• compromise the security of the Platform; or
• otherwise violate applicable law.

JohnnyHQ reserves the right to cooperate with lawful requests from governmental authorities and to take appropriate action where we reasonably believe the Services are being used in violation of applicable law.

12. Reporting Concerns

Maintaining a trustworthy platform is a shared responsibility.

If you believe content, behavior, or activity on JohnnyHQ violates these Community Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or applicable law, we encourage you to report it.

Reports may include concerns relating to:

• fraudulent documents;
• fake reviews or ratings;
• impersonation;
• harassment;
• misuse of AI features;
• intellectual property concerns;
• privacy issues;
• security concerns; or
• other activity that may threaten the integrity of the Platform.

JohnnyHQ reviews reports in good faith and evaluates them based on the information reasonably available at the time. While we cannot guarantee that every report will result in action, we appreciate Users who help us improve the quality, safety, and trustworthiness of the Services.

13. Enforcement

JohnnyHQ is committed to maintaining a trustworthy, respectful, and reliable platform for all Users.

When we reasonably believe these Community Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or applicable law have been violated, JohnnyHQ may take action that we determine is appropriate under the circumstances.

Depending on the nature and severity of the conduct, such action may include:

• providing educational guidance or warnings;
• removing or restricting access to content;
• limiting access to specific features;
• temporarily suspending Accounts;
• permanently terminating Accounts;
• restricting access to AI-powered features;
• reporting unlawful activity to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law; or
• taking any other action reasonably necessary to protect the Services, our Users, or JohnnyHQ.

JohnnyHQ reviews reported concerns in good faith and seeks to apply these Guidelines fairly and consistently. However, every situation is different, and the action taken may vary depending on the circumstances.

Nothing in these Community Guidelines obligates JohnnyHQ to remove particular content, suspend a User, or take any specific enforcement action.

14. Appeals

If you believe JohnnyHQ has taken enforcement action in error, you may contact us to request that we review the decision.

When submitting an appeal, please provide sufficient information to help us understand:

• the action taken;
• why you believe the action was incorrect;
• any relevant supporting information; and
• any additional context you believe should be considered.

JohnnyHQ will review appeals in good faith. While we may not reverse every decision, we are committed to applying these Community Guidelines consistently and fairly.

Our decision following an appeal will be final unless otherwise required by applicable law.

15. Updates to These Guidelines

JohnnyHQ may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect:

• changes to the Services;
• new product features;
• developments in artificial intelligence;
• changes in applicable law;
• improvements to our moderation practices;
• security considerations;
• community feedback; or
• other operational needs.

When material changes are made, JohnnyHQ will update the "Last Updated" date appearing at the beginning of these Guidelines.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Guidelines become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
